1. Piyush Chawla
Piyush Chawla, who has retired from T20 cricket, is one of the leading wicket-takers in the IPL. He has played for four different teams in this tournament. He has 192 wickets to his name across 192 matches. Although he claimed four wickets on two separate occasions, he was unable to achieve the feat of taking five wickets.
2. R. Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin, who has retired from the IPL, took 187 wickets in 221 matches. He won consecutive IPL trophies with the Chennai Super Kings in the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Ashwin failed to take a five-wicket haul in either overall T20 cricket or List A cricket.
3. Dwayne Bravo
Dwayne Bravo is considered one of the most successful all-rounders in the IPL. He was also known as a ‘death overs’ specialist. In 161 matches, he took a total of 183 wickets. Dwayne Bravo also scored 1,560 runs with the bat. He won the ‘Purple Cap’ in the 2013 and 2015 IPL seasons. 4. Rashid Khan
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is one of the most successful bowlers in T20 cricket. He has played over 149 matches and taken 174 wickets. In his career, he has claimed five wickets on four occasions in T20 cricket; however, he does not have a single five-wicket haul to his name in his IPL career.
5. Trent Boult
Trent Boult plays in almost all major T20 leagues. He has taken 145 wickets in 125 matches. So far, he has not taken a five-wicket haul even once in the IPL. In T20 cricket, Trent Boult has a total of 337 wickets to his name.
