Prize money for the 2026 Women T20 World Cup
The knockout matches of the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on June 30. So far, only England has secured a spot in the semi-finals. Seven teams are competing for the remaining three semi-final berths. The final of this World Cup will be played at Lord’s on July 5.

How much prize money for winning the T20 World Cup?
The ICC has set a prize pool of US$8,764,615 (approximately ₹82 crore) for the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup. This represents a 10% increase compared to the previous World Cup tournament. This time, the winning team will receive a prize of approximately ₹21.8 crore, while the runners-up will be awarded around ₹10 crore.
The prize money for the 2026 Women’s World Cup is approximately ₹2.5 crore less than that of the Men’s World Cup. The winning team of the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup (India) received ₹24.25 crore, whereas the women’s champion team will receive approximately ₹21.8 crore.
No team will return empty-handed from the 2026 T20 World Cup. As for Pakistan, they were eliminated in the group stage itself. The ICC issued an official statement confirming that all 12 participating teams will receive prize money of at least $247,500 (approximately ₹2.05 crore).
