The FIFA World Cup 2026 the biggest tournament in the world of sports is now in its final stages; the first semi-final was played between Spain and France. Spain won the match 2-0, securing their spot in the final. The second semi-final will be played between Argentina and England, with the winner advancing to the final.
The final match will take place at the New Jersey Stadium in New York. It is scheduled for July 19 (local time), though it will begin on July 20 according to Indian time. A closing ceremony will precede the match, featuring performances by various global stars ranging from Tom Cruise to IShowSpeed. The ceremony will start at 13:30 local time, with the match kicking off 90 minutes later.
In an official announcement, FIFA confirmed that Tom Cruise, Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, IShowSpeed, and several other stars will participate in the ceremony.
Jennifer Hudson will sing the US national anthem
Jennifer Hudson, winner of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards, will sing the US national anthem before the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, while Tom Cruise will make a special appearance.

Forty-eight teams participated in this FIFA World Cup, which was jointly hosted by three countries Mexico, Canada, and the United States. This marked the first time that 48 teams took part in the tournament and three nations co-hosted the event. Matches were played across 16 cities in these three countries.
