Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul begin intense training: Recently, Indian players Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were seen using the various facilities at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE). Both players spent considerable time there and appeared to be working on their skills. This is excellent news for the team ahead of the Test series against the West Indies.

In the first part of the video posted by the BCCI, Rahul and Rohit are seen practicing with fitness trainers, performing cricket-related strength and agility exercises. In the second part of the video, both players are seen batting in the nets. KL Rahul batted against the red ball, while Rohit Sharma faced the white ball.

Former Indian Test captain Rohit Sharma has retired from T20I and Test cricket, while 33-year-old Rahul remains an integral part of the Indian Test and ODI teams. Rahul is currently preparing for the two-match Test series against the West Indies. His experience and good form could prove very useful for India on home soil.

Both players are scheduled to lead India on the upcoming tour of Australia. This tour will see India play three T20Is and three ODIs against Australia. Rohit last played for India in the Champions Trophy, while Rahul was part of the five-match Test series against England.

The Indian team’s focus is currently on the Asia Cup 2025. The Indian team will play its first Super Four match against Pakistan on September 21st. They have won all three previous group stage matches.
