BCCI announces India-19 A and India B squads for tri-series, Vaibhav-Mhatre misses out: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selection committee has announced the India A Under-19 and India B Under-19 teams for the IDFC First Bank Under-19 Tri-Series, to be played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru from November 17-30. Vihaan Malhotra has been named captain of the India Under-19 A team, while Aaron George will lead the India Under-19 B team.

Why did Vaibhav and Ayush not get a chance?

The Afghanistan Under-19 team will also participate in this series. Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have not been included in these teams. The BCCI stated that Mhatre is currently playing in the Ranji Trophy, while Suryavanshi recently earned a place in the India A team for the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup.
