India’s full schedule for T20 World Cup 2026

India’s full schedule for T20 World Cup 2026: Under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, India defeated South Africa to win the T20 World Cup last year. Team India will now defend its title in the T20 World Cup, to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka next year. Along the way, it will once again face Pakistan.

On Tuesday, the ICC announced the schedule for the next T20 World Cup, 2026. India will begin the tournament on February 7th, the first day of the tournament. It has been placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, the United States, Namibia, and the Netherlands.

This group seems easy on paper, but it isn’t. The United States pulled off several major upsets in the last T20 World Cup, even defeating Pakistan. This team consists mostly of players from other countries, not just Indians, who moved to the United States after not receiving adequate opportunities in their home countries. Therefore, it will be difficult to take this team lightly. Although India has dominated Pakistan, no team can ever be taken lightly in T20.

The Netherlands, too, cannot be considered a light team in this tournament. They have caused numerous upsets in the past, and carelessness against them could prove costly for Team India.
